The LiveFit Trainer is by Bodybuilding.com’s Jamie Eason. I have taken their program and created variations for those at home. I received further motivation to do this when I found out I was pregnant. I continued to do variations and stick to this program as closely as possible.
Any variations I did were meant to keep it as hard core as possible. If I made any changes or alternatives specific to my pregnancy I noted it as an additional comment, so as not to destroy any benefits from those who are not growing a human :).
Note: these variations do NOT replace the quality you get from doing the ACTUAL exercises listed on the Trainer. These variations are being created to help those who want to make FIT happen, but need help removing one more excuse – whether that be “time”, or “can’t afford gym membership” or “no transportation” etc. No excuses! Let’s make it happen!
You Will Need:
- A resistance band (multiple intensity is good to have on hand as you get stronger, but not necessary. I give pointers for if you only have one band)
- Graduating dumbbells (set of 3 sizes is a good start)
Optional equipment for added variety:
- Pull up bar or Power Tower
- Swiss Ball
- Elliptical machine
- 4-5 position bench
